Bible Reading
‘Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.’ Psalm 119:105
Reading, or listening to, the bible regularly is a key part of growing as a disciple of Jesus. As it says in Psalm 119, God’s word helps us as we navigate through life: it lights our way and keeps us on the right path.
Whether you’ve only recently picked up a bible and you’re not quite sure where to start…or whether you’ve been reading it for some time…we hope the following recommended resources will be helpful. Many are available online, as apps and as emails. Others are books that we can order for you from our bookstall provider, Books Alive, in Hove.
And if you try something but it doesn’t quite work for you, don’t worry; just try something else until you find what suits you best in this season.
