Lewes Sings Gospel is a community choir hosted by Trinity Church Lewes. We are a choir for everyone; all ages, all faiths and none. We welcome everyone. We are a vibrant community, where you can meet new people. grow friendships and enjoy the journey of learning and singing gospel music together.
Lewes Sings Gospel is conducted by the wonderfully talented Marsha Morrison. She is an extremely accomplished performer, arranger and conductor. We are also fortunate to have the talented Vaughn Lamont accompany us on keyboard each week.
We love to sing together.

LSG is open to all
Lewes Sings Gospel has been running since 2009. LSG is a choir for everyone regardless of ability or experience. Lewes Sings Gospel is a vibrant community where people have fun, connect with others and learn new skills. Lewes Sings Gospel runs for 2 terms each year. The terms run for 12 weeks and culminates in a fantastic concert.
We’d love you to join us. You can join us for a taster session and we hope you’ll stay for the whole term.

Rehearsals happen in blocks of twelve weeks October to January and April to July

Marsha Morrison
Having served as conductor for Lewes Sings Gospel since its inception in Autumn 2009 Karen Gibson has handed on the baton to Marsha Morrison to continue leading the choir forward as Karen herself focusses her time on “The Kingdom Choir” following their appearance at the Wedding of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle and their subsequent rise to prominence.
Marsha is herself heavily involved in The Kingdom Choir both singing live and arranging a number of tracks on their recent album. She is an extremely accomplished performer, arranger, conductor and coach and brings all her experience to her work with LSG.
Marsha brings a fantastic mixture of energy, passion and encouragement to get the best from the choir, enable quick learning and ensure a really positive experience at every rehearsal.
